UTM or Universal Transverse Mercator is a grid coordinate system which is commonly used in survey maps . In this system the earth is divided into 60 zones
Xylem- transports water and minerals upwards from the roots. The dead cells of xylem (tracheids and vessels) are joined end to end forming long tubes , which conduct water along the length of the plants Phloem - transfers food made in the leaves to all parts of the plant. The sieve cell of food Phloem tissue also from long tubes for translocation of food . At maturity , sieve cells lack a nucleus and have very few organelles to allow translocation of food molecules
The movement of water molecules from the region of its higher concentration to the region of its lower concentration when both are separated from a semi permeable membrane is called osmosis . i.e. the water molecules from the soil (higher concentration) are absorbed by the root hairs of plant (lower concentration) through the process of osmosis.
